Festival of Nativities

Late Saturday afternoon we enjoyed the Festival of Nativites at the Vancouver Stake center. They had several hundred nativities on display. It was awesome. This is a highly anticipated annual event. David and Shelly and families attended as did Lonnie and I. One of the wonderful features of the event is the children's room. The Primary room becomes several 'rooms' or tents. Children can play with various nativities, be part of a live nativity by dressing up, or enter a story tent. In the story tent all participants sit on large pillows and listen to a story about the birth of Christ. Enjoy the pictures of Paulina playing with a nativity, Bailey as a camel and Lily as and angel. Lily loved the baby from the manger scene and lovingly carried off the doll.
